FAQ
DivX uses strong compression, so files are noticeably smaller. Works on DivX-certified DVD players and older hardware.
Less commonly, but some legacy DVD players and media boxes only support DivX/Xvid. It is also useful for saving storage space.
At the same bitrate, DivX (MPEG-4 Part 2) is less efficient than H.264. You may notice a slight quality drop at very low bitrates.
Videos up to 100 MB are accepted. Larger files take a bit longer but follow the same process.
