Can WebP include sound?
No. The WebP format is image-only. If you need audio, export as MP4 or WebM instead.
How do I make the WebP loop forever - or only once?
In “Advanced settings” set the loop count to 0 for infinite looping or 1 for a single play-through.
Does WebP work in all browsers?
Animated WebP is supported by Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Android browsers. Safari 14+ supports still WebP; animated WebP is coming in macOS Ventura/iOS 16 and later.
Can I keep transparency from the original MP4?
Yes - if your MP4 contains an alpha channel (ProRes 4444, VP9 alpha, etc.) enable “Transparency” before converting to preserve it.
What is the maximum upload size?
Up to 500 MB per file. Larger clips can be trimmed in-browser to fit this limit.
How are my files protected?
