How to download YouTube videos
Three steps in a browser tab, on a phone or a computer
11. Copy the video link
In the YouTube app, use Share and then Copy link. In a browser, the page URL in the address bar is the link you need. A Shorts link or a live replay link works just as well.

Press "Download" and the versions YouTube offers appear in a list, video on one tab and audio on the other.

MP4 plays on anything, WebM is the smaller web format and MP3 gives you sound only. Tap the arrow next to the one you want.
